Location (SPECIAL!):

#1 Battle Square, Battery Park Senior Apartments, at top of hill, large handsome red brick building behind the Grove arcade, downtown Asheville.
We will be dancing in the top floor space, surrounded by windows overlooking the city.
(important: Building open by door person 3:15-4:15; locked and not accessible after 4:15! Please come on time. If you cannot arrive between these times, please make special arrangements with an organizer: )
 

Description:

This is a mixed abilities, beginner friendly contact improv jam, structured in the Underscore format, based on the work of Nancy Stark Smith. Join us for this Underscore and experience the unity and connection inherent in the form. Appropriate for beginner and experienced dancers alike.  Asheville’s Interweave, an improvisation group that lives the principle of inclusivity and accessibility to the arts, are invited to join us as we dance in their rooftop garden dance space.
 

Parking:

Street parking or the Wall Street garage; car-pooling encouraged. (Allow extra time to park, walk and enter the building.)
